Katie Roper is a veteran of Republican campaigns with federal agency experience under both Republican and Democratic presidents. A native of Palm Beach, she attended Florida State University, during which time she interned for the Speaker of the Florida House, graduating summa cum laude with a degree in finance. After she graduated college, she took a finance post with the National Republican Senatorial Committee, where she was deputized to three Senate campaigns during the party's successful 2018 Senate cycle. She then took a post with the State Department's Office for International Religious Freedom, transitioning after President Biden's election to the U.S. Agency for International Development, where she served as a technical and communications adviser to a large-scale procurement initiative in sub-Saharan Africa. In 2023, Katie joined Commonwealth Public Sector Partners as a Senior Associate, supporting the work of the partners in all areas and advising clients on issues, including:

Regulatory compliance;
- The federal contracts process from proposal to termination;
- Media relations; and
- Social Media and digital strategy.

In her spare time, Katie enjoys yoga, playing volleyball (indoor and beach) , swimming, fashion and interior design, and (thanks to her family's ancestral history in Brooklyn) Dodgers baseball. She lives in Washington, where she teaches Sunday School at her church and serves as a mentor for teenage girls participating in a national cotillion program.
